I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I turned my passion into a career by studying graphic design, and I have worked in the graphic and digital design industry for over 20 years.
Originally from the Netherlands, I moved to Australia in 2004. I now live in Perth, WA with my wife and two children. I currently work as the head of visual design at Hatchd in Perth, Western Australia
A creative outlet to balance the chaos of life.
Through my art and design studies I spent my time drawing in high detail. Over the years my focus shifted to other mediums like music. After moving to Australia, I thought I'd dust off my drawing skills but didn't have a set style or direction.
My wife and I threw caution to the wind (and our jobs) and travelled extensively throughout the world. It was India where my passion for drawing was reignited. Since then I haven't stopped and it has become a part of my daily life. I find drawing a mental escape and positive creative outlet to balance the chaos of life.
